Gastronomic highlights in Hotel America

Albergo America has two faces. On the one hand it’s a small but very fine familiar Design Hotel with the elegant rooms providing the modern comfort. On the other hand here is situated one of the oldest and most beautiful restaurants in Locarno.

Our gastronomic offer is very rich and contains both seasonal delicacies and typical specialities from Tessin as well as international dishes. Every evening your dinner will be accompanied with the romantic live piano music. Please don’t forget to reserve the table in advance.

Terrace This marvelous Piazza Grandewith its historical buildings, ancient cobble-stone pavement, little shops, restaurants and gelaterias will remind you of the traditional Italian old town.

Caverna Degli Dei Caverna degli Dei is mysterious and romantic. The historical vaulted cellar with its impressive walls dated back to the 7th Century invites you to relax in the pleasant atmosphere.

Sala Degli Artisti In "Sala degli Artisti" you will feel yourself transferred to the glamorous world of the film stars. We welcome you every morning here to the breakfast.

Enoteca In one of the halls of the romantic 600-years-old vault cellar Caverna degli Dei you will find our gorgeous wine cellar. We are proud of our wines. No bottle is by chance here.

Ristorante The mysterious building of the Hotel America is full with alcoves, romantic corners, beautiful premises. The cosy, familiar hall on the first floor is simply called „Ristorante“.
