Five years ago the historical Hotel America at the romantic Piazza Grande in Locarno got its muse. Ketrin Kanalga is elegant, ambitious and very creative. She fills her Albergo with love and inspiration.

Moon & Stars in Locarno Moon & Stars is a famous music festival that takes place every July on the Piazza Grande . This open-air event lasts 8 to 10 days and welcomes more than 12’000 guests.

Film festival International annual film festival is held every August since 1946 in Locarno. It belongs to the world’s most important cinema festivals (category „A”).
